Jeffrey Allen Dennis
Jeffrey Allen Dennis is the Founder and CEO of Minority Behavioral Health Group. He has served as the Senior Pastor and Visionary Leader of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio since 1988.
Pastor Dennis has a Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Arts in Practical Theology and Black Church Studies from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio; he is currently in the Doctorate of Ministry program at the Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio. He is the Founder of Project A.G.A.P.E., an educational and social program that targets African-American males aged 6-17 and their families who live in the inner city area; Akron Pastors’ Project, a program that educates the community regarding drug abuse, chemical dependency and mental abuse; Akron Unity Partnership, a collection of churches committed to partnerships in the interest of holistic community development; and Bethlehem House of Bread, an extension of Ashland Theological Seminary of Ashland, Ohio.
Pastor Dennis participates in a number of national and community initiatives involving educational reinforcement, community empowerment, economic development, health maintenance, cultural awareness, family building, and character development.
